Second-Life Batteries.
Rural Intelligence.
Zero Infrastructure.
The EV promise is broken for 1 billion rural Indians.
We’re rebuilding it from the ground up — affordable batteries, AI-native intelligence, and zero new infrastructure needed.
Four barriers keeping
rural EV stuck in neutral
These aren’t edge cases. They are the everyday reality for 4 million+ e-rickshaw drivers across India.
Battery Cost Crisis
New lithium packs cost ₹80K–₹1.2L — more than 3 months of income for a rural driver earning ₹400/day. Replacement cycles destroy economics permanently.
Range Anxiety
Existing BMS chips report wildly inaccurate SoC on Indian roads — temperature extremes, inconsistent cells, dusty sensors. Drivers lose 30–40% of usable range to fear.
Infrastructure Gap
Urban fast-charger networks stop at district headquarters. 640,000 villages across India have no public charging. Rural fleets need charging from a standard 5A home socket.
Connectivity Void
No telematics survives rural GPRS dropout. Fleet operators fly completely blind on battery health, route efficiency, and driver behaviour across their entire fleet.
Three layers, one complete platform
Hardware, intelligence, and business model — each reinforces the other.
Second-Life Batteries
We recycle retired EV packs, calibrate each cell with our SOH protocol, and repack them as rural-grade battery modules at 40% of new-pack cost — with embedded IoT from day one.
- ✓SOH < 5% error vs lab
- ✓Operates 0–50°C ambient
- ✓IP65 dust/water rating
Chakra BMS
A cloud-native BMS stack running on rural GPRS: real-time telemetry, GPS-free range estimation, road quality scoring, and anomaly detection across 16 failure classes.
- ✓Works on 2G / 10kb/s
- ✓16 anomaly classes
- ✓Digital twin per device
Battery-as-a-Service
Operators pay per kilometre instead of owning the pack. We absorb replacement risk and guarantee uptime. Subscription-first model locks in recurring revenue and builds loyalty.
- ✓Zero capex for operators
- ✓Guaranteed uptime SLA
- ✓Per-km billing model
The intelligence roof that ties every layer together
GBOS aggregates telematics from all deployed batteries and overlays road quality maps, pothole heatmaps, SRI scores, and anomaly clusters across geographic grid cells. Fleet operators and government partners get a live operational dashboard of their entire rural corridor — without any additional infrastructure.
Real roads.
Real numbers.
Built for Bharat,
not Silicon Valley
Every algorithm is hardened for intermittent GPRS, 45°C ambient, unpaved roads, and sub-dollar hardware budgets.
Driving State Machine
A 16-state FSM classifies every second — idle, acceleration, coasting, regenerative braking, overload — enabling per-state energy attribution and drift detection.
AREM
Adaptive Range Estimation Model
Computes remaining range from battery history, payload load, ambient temperature, and road grade — without GPS. Works on 2G with 10-second update intervals.
RECI
Road Environment Condition Index
Scores surface quality in real-time using MPU6050 accelerometer data. Generates pothole heatmaps and SRI (Surface Roughness Index) scores across rural corridors.
Load Estimation
Infers payload weight from current draw vs speed gradient — no load cell needed. Enables dynamic range correction and prevents overload-induced pack degradation.
SOH Calibration
Proprietary State-of-Health assessment protocol characterises retired EV cells using only V/T curves — less than 5% error vs lab, zero specialised equipment required.
Digital Twin
Every battery gets a live digital twin updated on every telemetry pulse. Predictive maintenance scoring, warranty tracking, and remote diagnostics — all serverless.
3 provisional patents filed with the Indian Patent Office — AREM, RECI, and GBOS architectures.
A ₹2T+ market,
completely untapped
Rural last-mile logistics electrification is the largest unsolved EV problem in the world.

PM E-DRIVE — ₹12,500 per vehicle, directly subsidising our model
Combined with FAME II and state EV policies, our customers receive up to ₹35,000 in total government support per vehicle. This makes BaaS subscriptions cash-flow positive for rural operators from month 1 — eliminating the single biggest barrier to adoption.
Built by practitioners
who live the problem
